Marijuana Air Freight Book Review

Marijuana Air Freight, written by Lloyd Wingfield is a fictional novel in eBook form based on a smuggler's true story. It is suspenseful and adventurous. A story that is hard to put down.

It was the early 70s and pot smuggling was big business. Robert Peterson was a major drug dealer. He charmed his way and made friends easy. One of the executives involved in the marijuana smuggling operation. Robert only handled the highest quality of pot. He was considered a premium dealer of Acapulco Gold from Acapulco, Mexico, the hybrid of marijuana. His partner Jacques Silverman had arranged everything at the airfield outside of Petatlan, Mexico. It should have been a piece of cake.

Fly along with Randy Wagner, a commercial airline pilot and co-partner, as he takes us to the west coast of southern Mexico, to have the plane filled with tons of quality marijuana and smuggled in to New York City. Read about the plane crash and how he miraculously escaped death.

Illegal to grow and smoke marijuana in America, not many hippies grew their own pot. There were some who knew how to hide some plants in tomato gardens or down in someone's basement. However, large homegrown plantations were rare.

LSD, cocaine and marijuana was a growing demand for recreation due to the hippy generation. This need carried over in the 70's.

Former airline pilot and author

At the age of 23, Wingfield started out as an airline pilot for Eastern Airlines. He has had many business ventures and is now retired.

Lloyd Wingfield is very knowledgeable in aviation. He has a degree in English Literature and an aspiring writer. Hard to believe that Marijuana Air Freight is his first novel, once you begin reading it, you will not be able to put it down.

I have to agree that there is always a book worth reading. Marijuana Air Freight is one of those books. I could not stop reading until I had gotten to the end.

Without expressing my own opinion on drugs, smuggling and criminal acts as something I would not do. I love the adventure and suspense of this novel. I also love a good murder mystery. That does not make me a killer.

By now, you may have figured out that I have helped Lloyd Wingfield get his novel in shape to upload to Smashwords. I also created the cover image.

So how can I give you my unbiased opinion on if this novel as a book worth reading?

I have skimmed this novel many times over during the editing process and knew then that it was a great story to read. I honestly feel this way.

Recently I sat down and read it word for word. I had to keep reading without stopping until I reached the end. I wanted to know what happened next that I might have missed before. It is that good.

On the publishing note: I have helped authors get their material in the proper format and edited errors in order for Smashwords to convert it in the different formats. There is more to the editing process then what a person may think. Reading over the guidelines and excessive 'how to do it' material can be quite confusing. That is where I come in.
